I grew up in Portland, Oregon. Spent a decade figuring out that what I wanted when I was 16 is not what I want as an adult, and I am now dedicating my life to enjoyment and discovery. I moved to Salt Lake City and I am enjoying it so far. Not Mormon. Dating a sweet and romantic man who was worth moving to Utah for. Eventually I plan to end up back in Portland but until then I want to meet people and have lots of fun here.
For fun I like to go exploring, see new things, try new foods, and learn things.
Having a little bit of a mid-20's identity shake-up. Debating my direction, my purpose, my goals, and the best way to get there.
I value supporting local companies, giving things away, doing things to make other people’s day a little brighter, equal rights, respecting animals, the environment, things nature-related (and I include fairies in that), and public transportation. I value peace and harmony and freedom, and having a personal space of my own.
I value the innocence of childhood and homemade things rather than the impersonal store-bought versions. I value fantasy and magic, books and dreams, the changing of the seasons and cycle of life.
I am willing to spend a little extra money in order to support what I believe in.
I respect people who chase their dreams and do what they enjoy, people who stop to question "why" instead of just accepting things as they are, and people with confidence in themselves. I respect knowledge, both from books and from experiences. I respect logic and reason and the ability to see past the emotions of the moment.
I enjoy adventure and surprises, the excitement of traveling and the comfort of staying home. I enjoy constancy, security, and stability interspersed with a bit of wild and crazy. I enjoy wearing elaborate costumes, renaissance dresses with corsets, short skirts, business suits, jeans and t-shirts, stretch-pants and fuzzy cat slippers.
